This is a nice shot of The Princess and the Padawan walking along the beach in Santa Barbara, CA. We took the family up to SB and hit a few nice places. This walk was great for these two and The Joker. The Wookie got spooked by the waves and wouldn't walk anywhere near the water's edge. So these two were brave and had a blast running from the waves.

The USS Ronald Reagan sailed into the Santa Barbara, CA harbor this week. Santa Barbara is the adopted port for this beautiful ship, since it was the adopted home of the former president. This event is a huge event for Santa Barbara. The ship had been on "float" for quite some time, and the naval personnel hadn't seen their loved ones for a while. This was the first time many got to see their family and friends for a long time. So, there were families from all over the US, here to welcome their sailors home. Welcome to Santa Barbara!

Deanna Carpenter My wife. The mother of my 4 children. She's pretty cool, I think I'll keep her. This was taken in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific, in Long Beach, CA. We try to visit that place at least once a year, when visiting Deanna's grandmother for Hanukkah. I like the composition and the color. However, I don't like the final photo because my ISO settings were set to auto, by mistake, and it came out ISO 1000. So it's very grainy and not sharp enough for me. Blogged here.

This photo was taken on my commute home from work this morning. I used my 10-20mm ultra-wide and did it handheld, and yes I am driving. I'm actually only going like 20 mph. It was real early and no one was on the road.
